Candidate for Rawcliffe and Clifton Without
“A trained legal graduate, I joined Labour shortly before I was a parish councillor on the Isle of Wight, where I grew up, for the same reason I am standing for election in York: to help build stronger, richer communities. It would be a privilege to represent all residents of Rawcliffe and Clifton Without.
“York is a wonderful city, indeed, as recently recognised, it is one of the best places to live in the UK. There are many areas though where life for York residents could be enhanced through a more active, progressive local government. York Labour’s policies as laid out in our manifesto are a great start, offering the support and encouragement for everyone in our community to lead better lives. The manifesto speaks for itself. It will not be business as usual.
“If elected I intend to continue my career in the legal sector and as a union organiser in the gig economy alongside my responsibilities as your councillor. “
