I’m Sarah and I’m standing to become a councillor in Fishergate.
I’ve lived in Fishergate with my family for over 13 years and have worked in local schools as a Teaching Assistant and teacher.
I now work for a small local charity, supporting their work on movement and wellbeing. I am standing in Fishergate as it’s a place I love living and I have been completely blown away by the community’s response to those in need over the past few years.
I believe we need a Labour Council in York to make it an even better place to live and work.
