A conservation task in memory of Martin Pask has been carried out by members of the local party and Martin’s family. On a cold, crystal clear February afternoon, a group of us gathered to identify trees in West Bank Park, Acomb, and label them with sustainable tags. Martin, a long-standing party member, was passionate about public engagement with nature and the tagging event appeared an appropriate way to mark his passing. The event had the support of the Friends of West Bank Park and local councillor, Katie Lomas, took part in the action.
