Role: Election Campaign Organiser

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber Region – York Labour Group

Salary: £10,581.72, plus £450.80 fixed sum allowance

Duration: Fixed term contract until July 2022, with the possibility to extend. 13.5 hours per week, flexible work arrangements and home working available.  Occasional evening and weekend working required.

Benefits: 25 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus 8 public holidays (pro-rata). Employers pension scheme.

York Labour Group is seeking to recruit an Election Campaign Organiser to work with the Group on campaigning to win overall control of City of York Council in 2023.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, the ability to successfully plan projects, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
