“I believe it is essential that we elect Labour members for Dringhouses and Woodthorpe, so that York can have a council that will promote and protect our beautiful city and build a secure future for its citizens. York is a wonderful city in which to live, study, work and raise a family. To prosper and benefit all its residents we must tackle the growing poverty in York, provide decent employment, ensure access to affordable housing, adequately fund education and improve the air quality in our city. I want to make a contribution to my community and the city, and believe a Labour council would better secure our city’s and our children’s future.”
