Role: Local Organiser
Location: Yorkshire and the Humber Region – York Labour Group
Salary: £10,170.97, plus £433 fixed sum allowance
Duration: Fixed term contract until July 2020, with the possibility to extend. 15 hours per week, with flexible working by arrangement. Occasional evening/weekend working required.
York Labour Group is seeking to recruit a Local Organiser to work with the Group and the local Labour Party on building towards winning overall control of City of York Council in 2023.

The successful candidates will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, the ability to successfully plan projects, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
