Pensioner and disabled travel

Labour Councillors have launched a petition to try to reverse the cut in pensioners and disabled residents travel tokens

Petition

In February, the council cut its travel token allocation to pensioners and the disabled from £40 to £20, penalising people who should be supported. In doing so, the city council failed to acknowledge the invaluable contribution pensioners and disabled residents make to our city.

We, the undersigned, call upon the council to return the travel token allocation to £40.
