Personal Details
- Tracey has represented Acomb Ward for 9 years, being first elected in 1999. Tracey's areas of interest are planning, transport and disability issues. She is currently the Labour Spokesperson for City Strategy, a member of the Local Development Framework and several Scrutiny Committees.
- Tracey is also a Governor of Carr Infants School and Treasurer of the Poppleton Road Out of School Club.
- Born in York, Tracey attended Fishergate Primary, Mill Mount and York College . In recent years she has qualified as an NVQ Assessor in Care and obtained a BSc and MA through the Open University. Tracey currently works part-time as an office manager in the local office of a national charity. Tracey is married to Iain who together have a daughter, Niamh, who attends a local primary school.

The next Four Years
During the next four years I want to continue working with residents on a number of issues. These include:
- Supporting the seting up of new Residents Associations across the Ward.
- Campaign for proper community facilities for Acomb residents.
- Tackling Anti Social Behaviour through continued work with the police and Mayfair Security to highlight trouble spots in the Ward requiring attention.
- Resurrect the A59 Boroughbridge Road Park and Ride
- Improve the local environment by protecting grass verges and looking for improved footpaths on both Council and private land
- Continue to work to ensure that local streets are clean, tidy and litter free.
- Campaign for better bus Services by lobbying the bus company to improve the No 10 to a 15 min service and return the No 26 to run to Monks Cross
- To campaign for shelters at all bus stops to have timetable information.
